Abstract
Vue cinema is a UK leading multiplex and the one in Edinburgh opened in November 2002 for the release of the second Harry Potter, Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets released on the 15th of November 2002. This cinema was a former Warner Village Cinema and currently employs 40 members. Concerning the number of customers, in 2008, there were 695,763 customers against 605,400 planned. The forecast for 2009 reaches 703,000 and considering the blockbusters of this year, despite the recession, these figures will probably be overtaken. This cinema is the biggest in Scotland and it's kind of the example for all the others. Because it is the most important, it has to act well and give the best impression. Recently, the General Manager from Vue cinema located at Ocean Terminal in Edinburgh, took the direction of the one in the Omni Centre which brought new ideas such as the way of queuing and a fresh innovative air such as the extension of responsibilities for staff members.
