Trinidad-and-Tobago is a island, positioned in the northeast of Venezuela. The country is ideally positioned between United States, Europe, Africa, and South America. This position can be an advantage to export to or to import from South America. However, despite the fact that temperatures in this region are mild, there are many hurricanes and storms. Thus, the climatic conditions can be a threat for companies that want to set up business in Trinidad-and-Tobago between July 1st and November 30th of every year. Moreover, Trinidad-and-Tobago is an island. In consequence, people need to import many products. Thus, the cost of living becomes higher than in the continent as is the case with all islands.
