Battlegroup, Poland, soldiers
In European Union, the project for some people (or the utopia for other) of a common European defense is frequently in the heart of the debate. Thereby, the four defense Ministers of the Visegrad group, France and Germany "met in Brussels to sum up the defense-related results of the V4 cooperation and set down priorities for the future". After this meeting, ministers adopted a statement for resume their position and identified the objectives, priorities and means of a such co-operation. Resulting from this, a battle group composed by soldiers of this four countries should be created in the second half of 2015 and fully operational in 2016, and should be composed of 3,000 soldiers.
In this battlegroup, Poland will assume the role of framework nation. Each country will lead in a specific area, for exemple Hungary will be responsible for engineering, medical support, and reconnaissance, and Poland, as the framework nation, will have a leading in command and control, among other responsibilities.
A battle group already exists in Europe, it's composed of 19 batalions of about 1500 men, but for the moment, it hasn't be send in mission out of the European Union territory.
