As a French student pursuing a degree at the Political Science Institute in Lille, France (Sciences Po Lille), I am required by my College to complete a year abroad for my third year of undergraduate studies, either in a foreign university or on an internship.
The internship seemed an obvious choice to me, being a great opportunity to gain experience in fields of which I have only had theoretical knowledge until now.
I am currently doing an internship at Aujourd'hui la Turquie a Turkish newspaper written into French. And I would like to complete this with another internship. I am determined to take advantage of my trainings to extend my field of operations and my knowledge about Turkey and international relationships.
The most important facet of my studies is its multidisciplinary nature: it provides me with wide-ranging general knowledge, a capacity to analyze and understand the current issues of our world and more particularly Turkish issues to which I dedicate a great interest.
