This study examines the prophet Jeremiah's path, including his personal trials, messages of judgment and hope, and his role as a messenger of God during Jerusalem's destruction.

[...] Jeremiah reports the plots hatched against him: hear the slanders of many: "Terror on all sides (Jeremiah 20:10). This verse highlights the extent of the opposition he faces, including accusations of being a false prophet or a conspirator. This betrayal by those who should be his supporters reinforces his sense of loneliness and incomprehension." These persecutions cause a deep inner distress in Jeremiah. In a moment of despair, he declares: 'Cursed be the day I was born ' (Jeremiah 20:14). [...]
