Sociology without borders: For public sociology?

Abstract

In the first issue of Sociology, the online magazine, the editorial says that the birth of the project sets an ambitious goal with reference to an article from The Buroway. It makes public sociology a scientific discipline. This does not mean that it makes it more accessible by simplifying its theoretical concepts, but the discipline is open to a dialogue and a commitment to the world. It is interested in the world and is not self-referential.
