Fashion Internship Experience: Professional Immersion and Skill Development

In addition, the apprehension related to the world of work was translated in me by a fear of lacking recognition in the realization of my work. I had doubts about what I could bring compared to all that they would teach me. It turned out that my apprehensions were unfounded and that my representations were false, to my greatest interest. Thus, this first confrontation allowed me to better understand the importance of the quality of relationships required in a workplace. [...]

[...] In fact, it is essential for me to immerse myself in an environment where I can meet many professionals such as tailors, seamstresses, designers and conceptors, in order to become aware of the professional reality that awaits me in a future job. It is essential to start my arrival on the job market and to broaden my skills on this subject through an internship. My missions within this internship allowed me to get involved in this professional experience, as they were both interesting and rewarding. First, my main mission was to develop new materials on a given theme by preparing textiles and samples. To do this, I had to organize the archived fabrics. [...]

Thanks to this experience, I was able to identify professional identities but especially the men and women behind these professions. The contact with the actors of this industry allowed me to have support for the next stage of my professional project. These are people ready to accompany me and facilitate my professional insertion in the world of fashion. During this internship, I was able to meet professionals, but also future professionals through strong relationships maintained with the other interns that the company had. [...]

After this exploration of the archives and the amazement it produced in me, I had the opportunity to delve carefully into the development process of the garment creation stage from its presentation at the fashion show.
