Abstract
For my school I had to do a travel in another country in the goal to have an experience of work at the stranger.
To find my summer job, I asked an organization called “Inter Séjour”. With the help of this company, I found a job in a hotel in Mallorca where I will be fed, Accommodated and paid. It was a four star hotel of the chain “ROC Hotel”.
I arrived in the airport of Palma on the 19 June (it was a Saturday), and interacted with the director of the hotel who explained my job, my schedules and my day-offs. Nevertheless, I collected my uniform for work on the same day.
I started to work the Tuesday of next week, so during my two free days, I took some time to discover the little the city of Palma (the capital) and tried to familiarize myself with the neighborhood and things around.

My schedules changes to start at 10 o'clock instead of 11 because at 10 my job was to open the bar alone: - Clean all the table (inside and outside) - Do the inventory of the drinks (with/without alcohol) and fill when were missing drinks - Put ashtrays on the tables and the menu The midday, there didn't have the restaurant open for clients, they had the possibility to eat at the bar cafeteria. However, when there had a lot of clients, for example in the restaurant, my bosses were very stressing and they talk to me or the others students very bad, they were always yelling on us, and always something to blame us. - Outside (in the street or other) In Spain, I could see that the Spanish people are very nice. They are very sociable and very open-minded. I was very amazed because they like the French people (obviously not all), and they like to try to speak in French. [...]

Cultural differences - At work During this summer work, I've seen that at work, the Spanish are no stressing when there are a few customers. When I did something quickly that my 2 bosses asked me, they always told me "tranquillo " and to take my time when I had something to do. [...]
[...] This hotel offered many services paying or free : - Swimming-pool - Jacuzzi - Restaurant (for the breakfeast and the dinner)* - Bar Cafeteria and Swimming pool bar - Rent a car - Some activities with partners (Jet Ski, walk with horse?) *The prices for the restaurant : - For the breakfast, for the childrens under 12 years old, and 10? for the adults and the childrens of more than 12 years old. - For the dinner, for the childrens under 12 years old, and 18? for the adults and the childrens of more than 12 years old. However it exist 3 possibility in the choice of the formula during the reservation : - Half-pension ? the clients doesn't need to pay when he eat because the meals are included in the price of the reservation. - Just breakfast ?
