This document discusses phonetic correction methods, specifically the articulatory and verbo-tonal methods, for improving pronunciation in Foreign Language Education (FLE).

The articulatory method, on the other hand, is more interested in the production of sounds and phonemes proper. According to this method, a better production will allow for a better understanding, a better perception. Thus, in the first instance, we will analyze the pronunciation error of a consonant and the possible corrections according to each of the two methods, and then, in the second instance, we will do the same for a vowel pronunciation error. [...] Each entering through a different approach, they therefore each have positive and negative points equivalent. It is up to the person proposing this type of phonetic correction exercise to choose the method that suits them best, but also to adapt to the person in front of them (not everyone can be receptive to the same methods and the same principles of correction). Note that there are many other types of phonetic correction exercises: mouth and jaw motor exercises, exercises on breath and breathing, exercises around the voice, communication exercises . [...]

B. According to the verb-tonal method In the verb-tonal method, as seen previously, the first principle is to well identify and analyze the error made. So let's see two remediation activities for this type of error, first according to the articulatory method, and then according to the verbal-tonal method. A.
