Henry Ford was born on a farm in Wayne County, Michigan. Ford struggled to hold down a job bouncing to different professions until he started working on experimental cars (Flink, 2000). It was these experimental cars that led Ford to be an iconic American industrialist. Henry Ford established the Ford Motor Company manufacturing model cars and revolutionizing the assembly line.
