The Caribbean Islands are located in the southeast of Northern America, east of Central America, and in the north west of South America. This is commonly recognized as a sub-region of North America. It includes more than 7,000 islands, islets, and reefs, and 38 territories. This is composed principally of American countries like Venezuela, Colombia, countries of the Central America, Yucatan (Mexico), Florida, Guyanese, the Bahamas and the Antilles, which is a group of archipelagos including Guadeloupe, Martinique, Sainte-Lucia, Saint-Vincent and the Grenadines, and Grenada.
