We think they are beautiful, kind and benevolent creatures, but the story shows that their only goal is to kill sailors who are charmed by their songs. PERSONAL NOTE I really enjoyed this story because it highlights a hero from another era who has extraordinary adventures. He must face many challenges but always manages to get out of them thanks to his cunning and the help of Athena. Although his journey back home takes ten years, Ulysses never forgets his wife and eventually finds her. The story ends well and the hero finds his homeland and his family. [...]
