Abstract
Are we ready to join the buy nothing day activists? We must say that our overconsumption is causing lots of damages nowadays. Buy nothing day is an international day of protest against consumerism observed by social activists. Buy nothing day activists want to highlight the environmental and ethical consequences of consumerism. So why can't we close our wallets and don't spend a cent for just 24 hours?
The planet is being destroyed and we can see it. It is due to the greenhouse effect and the global warming cause in part by excessive consumption. Activists try to create awareness among the public about the calamities that may happen in the near future, we have to protect our planet from the mishaps.
