In order to meet the current needs of the consumer society, companies need to be very productive. This ever-increasing productivity is the cause of multiple discharges of pollutants. The discharge could change accosting to the sector: transport discharges 27% of waste as gas, industry 21% and agriculture 16%, for example. In the era of capitalism, companies did not care about wastes or negative side of their production. The only thing that they aimed at was the highest productivity; they did not think about the ecological aspect. Today, the latter is a veritable topic. But the energy is very important in our life: in the XVIII century coal played a key role with the launch of the Industrial Revolution; in the following century coal gave place to petroleum . The XX century was defined by natural gas and uranium used to produce nuclear energy.
