Abstract
The Jewish community in the USA is often criticized because of the belief that it is responsible for the USA's foreign policy in the Middle East. There's a strong belief that the Jewish community is represented by very powerful and organized organizations, that exert a great influence in Washington, especially on the members of the Congress and inside the White House. It can be argued that its influence is overestimated. This can be explained by centuries-old suspicion towards Jewish people, ranging from the impression that Jews control many aspects of economic and financial life, and more recently, the entertainment industry too, especially Hollywood.
