Abstract
Even if I have only been in the company for few months, I fully invest myself because I like what I'm doing and I appreciate working in our dynamic department.
Early this week, you proposed that I be the department representative during the monthly Health and Safety committee meetings. I thank you for the positive comments you made on my previous work and for considering me for this role.
However, I feel I can't realistically handle it and must therefore decline the proposition.
As you are aware of, last week has been particularly busy for me. I agreed to replace my colleague and carry the Pinch it, even if it was quite tough and demanding. I did it because it was an urgent situation, and a solution needed to be found quickly.
