This article presents an analysis of the book, ?the five elements guide of Lundholm and Richard'. The main purpose of this book is to present a guide about strategic leadership towards sustainability. The main question raised by it is: How can individuals be involved in taking actions leading strategically towards sustainability? I am going to develop my own opinion about this reflection bellow. According to the writer, our environment is composed of a fifth element after air, water, fire, and earth. These elements make way for the last one- "thinking?. These elements are interconnected and interdependent. Understanding how changes happen (the air element) has a meaning only if we try to understand behaviors around us and their context (water element). Separate elements don't have any sense and are not useful for the personal developing process because they are linked. You need to develop a holistic view, of your own personal development in order to succeed. Many things are interconnected and are really complicated and unpredictable. Beliefs of people and ideas move all the time with your perception, interpretation and awareness. This method definitely has some limits, the limits of the man to understand him-self.
