For example, a study showed that parents from more advantaged social backgrounds are more likely to regulate their children's access to the Internet 'on demand' rather than continuously, unlike parents from less advantaged social backgrounds. Conclusion This research has highlighted the influence of family socialization and social environment on digital use and critical thinking among students. Bourdieu's habitus concept has allowed us to understand how cultural capital and social dispositions shape digital practices and the ability to evaluate online information. It appears that inequalities in access to technology and digital education can exacerbate social disparities.
