Social conflict theory is one of the major theoretical perspectives in society. This theory views the society as a system that is composed of different groups that are not equal, and therefore the differences generate conflict and change (Dillon, 89).
Based on sex and gender, every society that has ever existed and is known to us is founded upon assumptions of gender difference and the politics of gender inequality.
In my society in Hong Kong, women are considered to be different from men. There are different criterions that people have used over the years to explain the differences.
