English is all the more essential in this domain, besides with a mere law degree I would only have two hours of English courses a week. Taking a degree in law and English would thus be advantageous not only to work in a globalized world, but also given my interest for this language.
I am especially interested in the study of Anglo-Saxon literature, civilization and history. Last year I took part in a project with my English and history teachers which consisted in studying history in English once a week. Given that I was really interested by all that I discovered – notably about the history of England – I am willing to study thoroughly Anglo-Saxon history. I also had extra English classes where I studied civilization and literature, which interested me as well, and I deepened my knowledge about Anglo-Saxon literature through my personal readings.
