Recent facts - 2,201 cases of women molested on trains were reported in Tokyo last year , 304 cases of indecent assault, more serious than molestation, More than half of the cases occurred between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m., 2/3 of female public servants had suffered a form of sexual harassment by 2001, Nearly half of female Kyoto University graduates and female teachers had been sexually harassed by male teachers (1996)
