Abstract
"Will you marry me?" Here are some words that we often listen or read, which explains a simple thing, marriage. But what is the real meaning of this word, marriage? Through times, the definition of it has evolved, and it is not possible to give a complete answer to it. Some people defined it as "a creation of a social union between two people". And others as a "simple legal contract between individuals that allows them to take advantage of the law". However each of them need a specific link between both. And this link creates a certain kinship. We associate the term "marriage" with the word "love". For many of us, the institution of marriage began so that a man and woman might, through their joy, their strength and their communion, become creators of life itself. Marriage is a high and holy state, to be held in honor among all men and women; all around the world, people have always wanted romance that ends up in getting married.
"You, having promised to live together in marriage, and having declared the same by the giving and receiving of the marriage rings, I, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the state, do now pronounce you husband and wife" are the typical words pronounced by the minister at the end of a wedding ceremony. After that, an eternal union is created between two individuals that conducts to the creation of a family, a step that everybody dreams of. This bond binds them for the best and the worst, in sickness and health. It is like a fairy dream which finally comes true.
