The world is changing every day. There are transformations in all fields and we all sense it. Modernity could be a right word to describe the 20th century, which is characterized by a century of progress, obviousness and dualistic bipolarity in international relations. The 21st century on the contrary should be a postmodern era. Ideologies have failed or at least have evolved, so-called universal values are getting just relative ones and cultures are getting mixed. In fact, this is the way I understand the subject, a discussion about "men from everywhere and nowhere" who would represent a world of everything and nothing. Some might say post-modernity is already dated. Indeed, this concept comes from the mid-1950s but I think it has never been as accurate as today and it is a pertinent way to describe the "new age".
