Abstract
Thomas L.Friedman is an author and a journalist who works in the famous news paper the New York Times. He is a three-time Pulitzer Prize winner , is specialized in opec and has served as the chief diplomatic office of the White House, and of international economics. He is thus an important specialist of American politics. In this article Friedman strongly criticizes the new current which was organized in the United States and which is to delegitimize a president. According to him we can criticize but we cannot go too far in doing so. This delegitimizing of the president prevents from solving the problems. To avoid this phenomenon it would be necessary to change people in order to follow the public opinion at all times because it is the public that imposes this phenomenon in an election campaign.
