[...] From administrative management to the follow-up of building permit files, through the in-depth analysis of the Noise Prevention Plan of the CDG, I was able to understand the concrete impact of the decisions made within the urban planning service on the daily life of the inhabitants of Groslay. This internship report therefore constitutes a testimony of my career path within this service. It highlights the challenges and issues I faced, but also the skills I was able to develop throughout this professional experience. I am convinced that this experience will be valuable to me in my future professional career and will contribute to enriching my vision of urban planning and territorial management. [...]

First of all, I wish to deepen my understanding of the mechanisms and processes that govern urban planning, by closely observing the methods and tools used by municipal urban planners in their daily practice. Then, I aim to develop my relational skills and my ability to work in a team, by collaborating with the different services of the Town Hall and interacting with local stakeholders and inhabitants.
