Author : Nelson Mandela

Nelson Mandela was a South African anti-apartheid revolutionary, political leader, and humanitarian who served as the country's first Black president from 1994 to 1999. He spent 27 years in prison for resisting the apartheid regime, becoming a global symbol of the struggle for justice and equality. After his release in 1990, Mandela led negotiations to end apartheid and helped establish a multiracial democracy in South Africa. He received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1993 and remains an icon of peace, resilience, and reconciliation.
