This document presents an environmental audit on Blue Elephant, a self-service high-pressure vehicle with jet washing stations. This center is located in Portsmouth in England. I will try to analyze and evaluate the consequences of running a business such as Blue Elephant. To facilitate easy understanding of the center, after introducing the activity of blue elephant, I will divide my essay into five paragraphs discussing each item of analysis. The PESTLE factors or the Political, Economical, Sociological, Technological, Legal, and Environmental issues that affect the business are also laid down. We also look into the extent to which this kind of business could be successful, and the reasons why such centers do not exist elsewhere. The center is part of a franchised chain of a Swiss concept founded forty years ago. With more than 775 centers in Europe and 511 in France, Blue Elephant is the European leader of high pressure jet washes. The centers are open 24 hours and operate on all days, leaving the customer completely autonomous, by allowing him to choose the duration and the cost of cleaning. The centers are equipped with all the essential equipments for cleaning all types of vehicles (cars, vans, bicycles, motor bikes etc). They include high-pressure jets, cleaning/valeting products and vacuum cleaners.
