Walmart and Carrefour are two large mass-market companies that have a weight in the market. However, both have two different strategies.
The American Walmart still dominates the top 10 worldwide distribution, while the French Carrefour goes back to third place, thanks to its strategy of recovery and the British counter-performance Tesco, according to a Deloitte study, which is based on the annual turnover of the main global distributors. Some articles even say that Walmart could buy Carrefour.
