This document explores the relationship between strategic alignment of ICT and organizational performance in Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). It presents the findings of a field study that investigated the impact of ICT alignment on SME performance, highlighting the importance of strategic choice, organizational structure, and ICT management in achieving better results. The study reveals that SMEs that align their ICT with their strategy and organizational structure experience improved performance, including increased productivity, customer satisfaction, innovation, and cost reduction. The research provides valuable insights for SMEs seeking to leverage ICT to enhance their competitiveness and achieve strategic objectives.
