[...] Effective Implementation of the Session This session was carried out in my CM2 class, which consists of 28 students aged 10 to 11 years old. The students were divided into groups of 4 to 5 in the usual classroom to promote group work. A blackboard was required to note the instructions and interventions, as well as sheets and pencils for the written production planned later. During this session focused on the album 'Jules' by Gregie de Maeyer, several deviations were observed from the initial plan, which required adjustments from me. These unexpected events were valuable opportunities to acquire knowledge. [...]
[...] Although time management and transitions need to be adjusted, this experience has proven the effectiveness of such a literary support in engaging students in essential learning about respecting the singularity of others. [...] For example, the use of visual elements from the album and concrete examples has facilitated the understanding of more abstract concepts. However, I have also observed that some students had difficulty working in groups, which can compromise their engagement and learning. Conclusion Finally, this session on the album 'Jules' by Gregie de Maeyer was very enriching, both in terms of discipline and professionally. Despite achieving the overall objectives of raising awareness about difference and rejection, with engaged students and significant realizations, there are still some adjustments to be made. [...]
