Analysis of obstacles to accompaniment and proposals for development to enhance employability for people with disabilities and deafness.
[...] However, expectations are not the same for each beneficiary, so it is therefore important for me that this central problem be posed as the beginning of a project of individualized accompaniment. From my experience on the ground, although less, I realized the complexity of accompanying certain beneficiaries, who, due to being withdrawn from society, did not have sufficient skills to cope with administrative difficulties and the financial repercussions on their situation. [...] Firstly, a better collaboration with certain local companies could also create job or internship opportunities adapted to the public, thus promoting professional integration through a safer contract. Also, it would be beneficial to establish closer ties with the various providers of inclusive apartments in order to develop adapted housing solutions that promote the autonomy of certain beneficiaries who need to be supported by their environment or by people, depending on their disability. In this regard, the organization of joint training sessions for professionals from both services could also strengthen mutual understanding of each other's missions and practices. [...]

Obstacles to accompaniment, proposals for development The analysis of my VAD revealed the need to complete the partnership between the SAVS and the ESAT of the UNAPEI Alpes Haute Provence, whose collaboration, although structured, does not cover all the needs of the beneficiaries. To ensure a coherent and comprehensive accompaniment of people with disabilities, it is imperative to consider the specificities of each type of disability. The accompaniment of deaf or hard-of-hearing people raises crucial questions about the adaptation of the services proposed. [...]
[...] During this individualized project, SAVS and ESAT professionals work together with the accompanied person to define their needs, expectations, and objectives, taking into account their abilities and aspirations. Adapted communication tools, such as simple and clear language, are used to facilitate understanding and expression of people. It is also important for me in this context to collect the feedback of beneficiaries at any moment of the accompaniment process, regarding their involvement in the decisions that concern them and to adjust practices accordingly. [...] This partnership marks an important step forward in terms of accessibility and inclusion. It demonstrates the importance of adapting communication tools to the specific needs of the accompanied people, in order to ensure them equal access to the information and services offered by the UNAPEI. I also suggested collaboration with EPNs, which would enable the beneficiaries to learn digital skills, and thus lead to better employability in the long term. These projects, initiated within the framework of my internship, are now part of a dynamic of continuous improvement for a better consideration of the different forms of communication. [...]
