Abstract

"About a boy" written by Nick Hornby is a really good and realistic novel. It deals with the problems of families having single parents and loneliness, which are common problems today. The novelist alternates his writing with humor and also touchy parts, which is very pleasant for the reader. The story is very modern, and it takes place in London. Nick Hornby wrote his book in 1998 and it was adapted into a film in 2002. The film has different parts, but the message is the same.
