Our daily life, their most uncertain hope. Our lives, they don't even dare to dream about it at night. They wouldn't even be able to imagine that our possible one day becomes theirs, as it seems so impossible to them. And their possible, that's our impossible. The atrocities they witness are so distant and uncertain that they do not cross our serene minds. [...]
[...] Which side are they on? What are they doing? You can't get close without knowing, danger is omnipresent. We watch them lift a body, small and delicate, a child's body? It doesn't seem to be breathing, it has lost all spark of life or innocence. They see us and make signs. They need help. We don't understand each other, the language separates us. But their gestures, their calls for help, we understand those. They offer burials to the massacred children. [...]
[...] We made a mistake in the impossible. We succeeded This woman had her child, both are alive They are alive, but alone, without the rest of their family. Here, impossible to get out without being hurt. These men silhouettes of the night, we have never seen them again. We wanted to calm their impossible, to make them discover our possible, a spark of hope.
