In the 1960s and 1970s, the pioneers, the executives removed from business or the ex-servicemen, were in search of greenery, of sun and vast houses. We owe them the creation of British clubs such as 'Dordogne Of Gentlemen Club' and 'Dordogne Ladies Luncheon Club' . Then, in the 1970s and 1980s, arrived pensioners and young seniors. Now, they come from Leeds, from Manchester, from London or from Bath, from all the circles and from all the professions, with spouses and children. The firm's intention is to redo its lifestyle in France. Since 2003, the English people prefer to leave their native country and come to live in France. We shall study why such a phenomenon occurs. First of all, we shall make a comparison of the English life and the French life. Then, we shall observe what attracts the English people to France.
