[...] In light of this reality, this thesis focuses on a crucial issue: how do political regimes influence economic prosperity in Cameroon and the Democratic Republic of the Congo Through a comparative analysis of two emblematic states in Central Africa, this research examines the differentiated effect of authoritarian stability and political alternation on economic and social dynamics. On one hand, Cameroon, led by the same president for over four decades, embodies a model of institutional continuity.
