The management also means all the responsible personnel of a company or organization, called in French "executive", "executives" or "direction."
The Oxford English Dictionary is the result verb "to manage" and the noun «management "of the French. In the sixteenth century, the French verb " Mesnager" was a term riding from the Italian " maneggiare ", meaning " take the reins of a horse " ( from the Latin " manus " hand). By extension, "Mesnager " has gradually been designated the French to hold the reins of an organization ( farm, factory , administration, etc. . ) And not just a horse. If the term passed into English where he gave "to manage" and «management ", he remained in French riding through the word «ride ".
It may be noted that the noun " mesnage " and the verb " Mesnager " also designated French in the seventeenth century " the art of managing the affairs of the household" , that is to say " lead his property, his fortune and his servants wisely . "
