The Hexagonal Temptation - The Sovereignty to the test of Globalization

Abstract

As the title says explicitly, the essay discusses the evolution of national sovereignty against the phenomenon of economic openness and liberalization of trade commonly known as globalization. However, the fact that the internationalization of trade is a carrier of strong ideologies makes the debate more difficult. Sovereignty is the supreme authority over a territory. It therefore seems obvious to answer to the question of loss of national sovereignty against globalization positively.
