Recruitment Officer, Internship Report, Monoprix, Human Resources Management, Alternance Service, Recruitment, Talent Acquisition, Retail Sector
This internship report details the experience of a recruitment officer in the Alternance Service of Monoprix, highlighting tasks, skills developed, and contributions to the company.
[...] For example, a crucial training session on inventory management had to be postponed several times, disrupting the schedules of both work-study students and trainers. The monitoring and mentoring of work-study students, although generally well-intentioned, also presented shortcomings. The lack of dedicated resources to ensure regular and personalized monitoring of work-study students was evident. Mentors, often overburdened with work, were not always able to devote the necessary time to each work-study student. This could lead to a sense of isolation among some work-study students, affecting their motivation and performance. [...]
[...] The realization of the contractualization of alternants was another key mission of my internship. By preparing and verifying the contracts, I acquired a deep understanding of the legal and administrative aspects of recruitment. This task also taught me to be meticulous and to pay close attention to details, as any error in the contracts could have significant consequences. For example, I ensured that all contracts comply with the current regulations and that the clauses are clearly explained to the alternants, thus ensuring total transparency and compliance. [...]
[...] The management and animation of the alternants community constituted an important part of my responsibilities. By organizing events and activities for the alternants, I contributed to creating a sense of belonging and to promoting a collaborative work environment. For example, I coordinated professional development workshops and mentoring sessions, which helped the alternants to develop their skills and to integrate more easily into the company. This experience allowed me to develop skills in event organization and community management. For example, the Alternance Morning Show at Monoprix is an event designed by the agency UNEXPECTED in collaboration with Monoprix to integrate its new alternants and introduce them to the company culture. [...]
[...] The use of project management tools was another key aspect of my organizational approach. The integration of software such as Trello and Asana allowed us to track the progress of each task and each candidate throughout the recruitment process. These tools facilitated communication and collaboration within the team, providing an overview of ongoing projects and deadlines to be met. For example, by assigning specific tasks to each team member on Trello, we were able to ensure that each stage of the recruitment process was covered efficiently and that follow-ups were made on time. [...]
[...] Services are also an integral part of Monoprix's activities. In 2022, home delivery accounted for an increasingly large share of sales, supported by optimized logistics and strategic partnerships with delivery platforms. Finally, Monoprix is active in the field of social and environmental responsibility. The company is undertaking various initiatives to reduce its carbon footprint, improve waste management and support social causes. [...]
