First of all, Safran is an international group of high technology, a leader specialized in the fields of the aeronautical and space propulsion, the aeronautical equipment, defense safety and communications. It is a French registered company with a Supervisory Board and an Executive Board. The company has a total of 57,000 employees and industrial and commercial operations in 30 countries. Its headquarter is located in Paris and its capital is about 83,405 917 euros. SEM-MB, a subsidiary of Safran was created in 1959. Today, SEM MB is specialized for it's ejection seat. We have met its chairman, Jean-Pierre Ledey. First of all, the group is headed by an Executive board, comprising of three main principal members; they are, Jean-Paul Herteman (the Chief Executive Officer), Dominique-Jean Chertier and Xavier Lagarde. Safran is a high-technology group divided into four different branches, Aerospace propulsion, Aicraft equipment, Defence security and Communications. Each branch is managed by an Executive Vice President who coordinates its operations. Moreover, each branch has it's own constituent companies, subsidiaries, joint ventures and affiliates.
