A social territorial diagnosis examines how social workers can support families and educational teams amidst a shortage of specialized educators in Hauts-de-Seine IMEs.
[...] These are essential relays in the life path offered to people with disabilities. MAS welcomes heavily dependent adults with disabilities under constant medical supervision. FAMs, on the other hand, offer accommodation and adapted support for people with a high level of dependency, but not to the same extent as MAS. The municipal network density is high: 27 nurseries, schools, colleges, high schools, sports, cultural, intergenerational facilities. In addition, the city is relatively well served by public transportation. These two points might suggest that families can easily find a place elsewhere. [...]
[...] To answer this, I will first present the portrait of the territory of intervention of the IME, before detailing the methodology of data collection, analyzing the results, and then opening up to perspectives of action as a future social worker. Portrait of the territory Generally, Suresnes is understood to be a socially privileged commune. Suresnes is located in the department of Hauts-de-Seine, in the heart of the metropolis of Grand Paris.
